On 24 October 2016, CWC Holdings Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in Malaysia. It was subsequently converted to a public limited company under the name of CWC Holdings Berhad on 30 November 2016. This was followed by another change of name to CWG Holdings Berhad (“CWG” or “the Company”) on 23 January 2017.
Following the completion of an internal reorganization on 29 June 2017, CWG directly holds 100% equity of Chee Wah Corporation Berhad (“Chee Wah”) [197701001307 (32250-D)] through a share exchange on 30 June 2017.
On 13 July 2017, CWG was successfully listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, assuming the listing status from Chee Wah. This is another major milestone in Chee Wah’s remarkable journey, spanning over six (6) decades since its humble beginnings.
